A Year for Family
and Focus
Well known on the international Grand Prix dressage circuit,
Suzanne Dansby-Phelps has found the time to reorganize and focus
on some new goals. This accomplished competitor has been long or
short listed for the USET dressage team for the past seven
years. In 2006 she was a US team alternate in Germany for the
World Equestrian Games. A familiar face on the Grand Prix
dressage circuit, Suzanne has taken this opportunity to
reorganize in 2008 and focus on some new goals. And they start
at home.

U.S. Show Jumpers
Win Team Gold at 2008 Olympic Games
A jump-off between the United States and Canada decided the Team
Gold medal at Sha Tin. Two countries, tied on a score of
20, after two rounds. The U.S. won. In the Olympic
rules, all team members return to the ring to jump off. Canada
began the evening a horse down because Mac Cone withdrew Ole.
This meant that they did not get to drop a score.
